Next up in my list of male reviews was the Tantus Stroker XL, a non toxic, phthalate and latex free, hygienic, hypoallergenic, waterproof, and easy to care for male masturbation sleeve that’s made of ultra premium silicone.

For those of you not familiar with the company, Tantus is the manufacturer of such fantastic and forward thinking products like the Alumina Pace, Revolve, Flow and Motion, a line created out of body safe Aluminum. All of the parts within the line are interchangeable and very easy to use, allowing you to combine and explore to your hearts content. It’s because of the above benefits and features the company is known for that I was very excited to receive the Stroker XL, having both high standards for it and a preconceived notion of what to expect.

Fortunately I wasn’t disappointed – or should I say my “tester” wasn’t disappointed!

Like all of the products Tantus makes the packaging is professional, discreet, straight forward and highly informative. There are no naked individuals, pictures of genitals or “inappropriate” language. While it does say “dramatically enhance male masturbation” and “designed to simulate contractions” the writing is in an italic handwritten font making it something your eye doesn’t necessarily notice or drift to. Regardless of that, considering that the inside display is removable and something you could easily throw out it’s not that big of a deal.

*I suggest saving the plastic case for storing your Stroker when not in use.

As for the actual product; it’s slightly rigid while maintaining some flexibility, supple, slightly squishy, rather thick, externally soft and odorless, has a bit of weight to it and comes in an almost transparent white color. Internally there are 9 (3 sets of 3) soft and flexible ridges that protrude from the product, all designed to mimic a contraction of the vaginal or anal muscles during intercourse.

In regard to measurements the Stroker XL is 5″ in length by 2″ in width and has an internal tunnel (hole?) measuring about an inch. That said, if your dick measures 5 inches or under I would suggest the original Stroker which measures 4.5″ in length and 1.5″ in width. If you’re larger than that I would suggest the Stroker XL.

*don’t think that because of its shape and size you have to fully insert your penis, just insert what’s comfortable and works for you.

While I don’t think there is much explanation needing when it comes to using the product I’ll lay out the instructions just so no one gets confused: apply a thick coating of your favorite water-based lube, insert your erect penis and begin stroking. That’s it, it’s really that simple

When I asked what the thought of the product: “At first it was a little rigid and hard but I stretched it, even though you said not to, and it got a little more flexible. I know I’m no expert, but to me it seems like it’s not really enough to accommodate guys with bigger than average sized dicks (meaning girth). It’s very sturdy and resilient so no matter how rough I was I never worried about ripping or tearing it. You’ve given me stuff before and I’ve been afraid of ruining it, I didn’t think twice with this. Using it is a little different as well, the ridges are interesting, they don’t necessarily hurt but they did pulled on my foreskin a bit which made me nervous. I liked that I had control over the tension or tightness to a certain degree, when I squeezed hard it was tighter and when I let it go it kinda felt like a contraction, maybe, I’m still not sure about that claim but I will say it felt good. Clean up was very easy since I just washed it with soap and water.”

When I asked if there were any tips or pointers he’d suggest: “Yes, use lots of lube because if you don’t it can start to pull. Use it really gently at first just so your body can get used to the sensation and you can get a feel for whether or not you really need to tighten your grip and get yourself good and hard first, if you try to stick it in (your dick) before your hard it just feels weird *laughing*. When I asked if he’d recommend it: “Well, you could leave it lying around and not be too worried if someone found it. After all it doesn’t look like a butt hole or a vag. It’s sturdy and built to last. It doesn’t have a smell to it like other toys on the market. It’s very easy to use and with the exception of the pulling it did feel good. I guess I’d say yes, but I’d warn guys with a foreskin before hand that they need to use lots of lube and be gentle until they know what they’re doing”

Sounds reasonable enough to me

Since the Stroker XL is made of silicone (and premium silicone at that) I would only suggest a good water based lube, if you use a silicone lube you run the risk of having it break down over time which would ruin it.

*Yes I know I sound like a broken record on the lube front, but I’d rather make sure you’re all informed than have you use something you shouldn’t simply because I neglected to tell you.

As for cleaning nothing could be simpler, especially considering all the options available: you can bleach it, boil it, put it in the dishwasher, wash it with anti bacterial soap and rinse it well or simply spray it with toy cleaner.

*I would only suggest boiling products that are s100% silicone, not a mix of silicone and another substance as that would most likely ruin (melt or deform) them. To my knowledge there are only a few companies making products that can be boiled for complete sterilization and Tantus is one of them.

The Bad

Since I wasn’t able to try the product myself I asked my “tester’ what he thought, this was his response:

“It pulled on my foreskin and wasn’t as soft as I would have imagined. I liked that it was kinda rigid, but I would have preferred it be a little more soft and squishy. I know it might sound stupid but when I jerk off with something other than my hand I like for it to feel as close to the real thing as possible – pussies are usually soft, wet, cushy and have some give to them, this didn’t really feel that way. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, just not what I expected. Sure the lube helped with the wetness but the rest I didn’t have much control over.”

As for my own personal dislikes regarding the product, it tends to collect lint, fluffy, string, dust, hair and anything else that it might come into contact with. On that note, I’d suggest you keep the plastic container it comes in (just throw out the paper insert) to ensure that you don’t have to wash it every time you want to use it.

Final Verdict

Considering the product is easy to use, hypo allergenic, hygienic, body safe, easy to care for and clean, made of premium grade silicone, built to last and very discreet I would definitely suggest it as something new for my male readers/viewers to try.

On that note, if you’re circumcised you should have a pretty good experience with it. However if your not, I would still suggest it, just make sure to use lots of lube, go gentle and be aware of the sensations at all times to ensure that you don’t hurt yourself by accident.

Before I suggest it I want to make it clear that very rarely would I ever support a penis pump as I believe that you have what you were born with and you just need to work with it….however, I also understand that no matter what I say, you will go out and buy a pump anyways…and if your going to do that, you might as well get one that works and is worth the money!

Thanks to the amazing guys at BathMate I was sent one of their NEW BathMate Goliath pumps (a much larger version of the original) so that I could do a follow up review of a product that I covered last year, the BathMate Hercules Pump.

After reviewing the BathMate Hercules Pump (which is the original one) I was messaged quite a bit from my male viewers in regard to their experiences with the product and what they thought of it;

About 80% of the reviews that came in said it worked in regard to gaining girth and/or length and/or consistently making them hard. But what surprised me most, was that from all of the positive reviews I received, I continually heard the same things over and over; how easy it was to use, that is was very comfortable, well made and easy to care for. A lot of the males that messaged me also said that it easily became part of their routine and that they would recommend it to a friend. I will be honest, without their feedback, I might not have been so willing to get my hands on the new Goliath.

As for the stats, the Hercules is roughly 11 inches in length whereas the Goliath is roughly 13 inches in length and the Hercules is roughly 8 inches around whereas the Goliath is roughly 10 inches around.

That said, for anyone that is above average in size I would suggest the Goliath, for those that are average or below I would suggest the Hercules. Please keep in mind that just because one of them is bigger it doesn’t mean that it works better…the Goliath works in the exact same way as the original it’s just made to fit a larger sized penis.

Like the original Bathmate Hercules, I love this product for quite a few reasons;

1.) you don’t have to buy any extra parts to make it work. What you see is what you get and it’s pretty much all you need.

2.) it comes with a full money back guarantee. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of products on the market (at least in the adult novelty industry) that offer that, so to have a company stand behind their product in that way really does say something.

3.) unlike other penis pumps that use a hand held device or a trigger system to create suction, the Bathmate is very, very easy to use and doesn’t have anything frustrating, annoying or tiring about it.

4.) constructed of durable Polycarbonate, skin safe rubber and stainless steel materials, the Bathmate is built to last. (it is also body safe)

5.) when used consistently, properly and on a regular basis, just like working any other muscle in the body, results will be seen. But that’s the whole secret of its effectiveness; using it properly and on a regular basis and not going overboard

As for using it properly there are three ways to go; in the bath, in the shower or with air.

If you are using it with water these are the instructions;
Once you’re relaxed and feel comfortable fill your BathMate with water from the tub or shower. Tuck your balls out of the way so that they don’t get accidentally get sucked in and insert your flaccid penis. *I know some people say they like to use it while erect, personally I think it’s safer to use it when your flaccid so that’s what I suggest.

Once you’re comfortably inside the chamber press the rubber base against your body and give it a few good pumps. Keep doing this until you feel a vacuum from inside. When you can’t pump anymore stop and relax for 15 to 20 minutes. After the directed time is up just press the pressure release valve located on the top to break the suction and you can safely remove it. Pretty simple right?

If you wanted to use the Bathmate with air instead of water, it’s the exact same steps. That said, I have personally seen the best results from someone who used it during the shower and bath, so that’s what I would recommend.

As for cleaning, BathMate sells accessories to help you keep your BathMate clean like a cleaning sponge and handle to get down into the product where you can’t reach and Sterilizing Tablets to help disinfect it. If you don’t want to spend the money on those you can always just wash it with mild soap and water. That however can leave a film or residue on the product so I would suggest antibacterial toy cleaner.

Now there are a few things that you may experience when using the BathMate that I’d like to point out just so you’re familiar with them and don’t think there’s something wrong;

1.) if you notice that you start to get an erection while you’re using it don’t worry that’s normal and to be expected. You are after all drawing blood into your penis, just like when you get aroused and get an erection.

2.) pain does not equal gain. If you notice that it starts to hurt at any time just push the pressure release valve on the top which will break the vacuum seal and allow you to safely and comfortably remove it.

3.) if you notice that the vacuum is not quite as strong (which usually happens after 5-7 minutes) just give it another pump to release more water and allow for a greater suction.

4.) if you notice that water squirts from the top while you pump don’t be alarmed, it’s supposed to do that.

In regard to the actual gains a person can expect; I gave 2 Bathmate Hercules pumps to 2 different friends and had another friend use the Bathmate Goliath

The first person said that every time he used the Hercules he got rock hard erections and because of that, never used it for anything but intercourse. He said he tried to use it daily but since he was happy with his size he didnt really care to see any special results. When I asked him if he would recommend it he said yes, but that he couldnt offer input on size gain only erections since that was what he liked about it and used it for.

The second person, who also used the original Hercules pump, used it daily for the directed amount of time (which is 15 – 20 minutes) and after 5 months said he noticed he was roughly an inch longer. He said that it was easy enough to use and very conveniently became part of his morning routine. While his results were pretty good, you have to keep in mind that he used it daily, put in the time and used it properly. Other then the size difference he also said he was able to achieve harder erections both when he was aroused and during intercourse.

The third person (who used the Goliath) used it roughly every 2 days for only 10 minutes and said that at the end of 2 months he noticed a difference in girth, as well as rock hard erections, but only a small difference in length. When I asked him if he would recommend it he said yes but that he would have rather used the original Hercules pump, as he found the Goliath to be a bit large for him and therefor a little bulky.

That said, the BathMate pump is going to work differently for different people and if you want to see lasting results you have to treat it the same way you would weight lifting or exercising…if you go to the gym once you can’t expect to see big muscles or lasting results; you have to go everyday, be dedicated and know what your doing so that you do it properly and can get the results you want.

Contrary to what most companies would have you believe, penis pumps arent a one time magical cure that’s going to solve your problems over night…it takes work, time and dedication. Remember that.

In my honest personal opinion, I think the Bathmate is a great product for those who are having problems achieving an erection or maintaining one, more so then gaining in size. I do realize that the company would rather sell it as a -size increasing- product but hearing male after male tell me that it was great for achieving erections, rock hard ones at that, why fight it? Even having said that, I know what the product can do size wise (because Ive seen it) and I have to admit, I was pretty damn impressed!
